A Grassroots Plan: Superior Country embarks on a strategic planning journey

In partnership with Tourism Northern Ontario and NOHFC, Superior Country is aiming to take a grassroots approach to identifying industry needs and assessing ways to foster an organizational culture that is responsive and adaptive to change.

With this in mind, a strategic planning workshop will take place during its upcoming AGM to seek input into the future direction of the organization. The process will be aimed at growing the organization, working with key players within the tourism industry and providing value-added services for members.

Superior Country Executive Director Dan Bevilacqua said that developing a new strategic plan is an essential next step for the organization.

“The new strategic plan will serve as a roadmap to guide Superior Country through sustainable growth while providing innovative ways to meet industry needs”, he said.

Karen Jones Consulting Inc. has been hired to facilitate the planning process. The initiative will conclude in March 2018.

Superior Country’s AGM will be held on Thursday October 19th from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel & Suites.  The cost, which includes dinner, is $50.
