Destination Northern Ontario’s Statement on COVID-19

As an organization, Destination Northern Ontario takes the outbreak of COVID-19 very seriously and has put the following measures in place to do our part in slowing the spread and working towards positive solutions for the Northern Tourism Industry.

 Protect staff and support government recommendations by working remotely.

 Collecting and sharing information.

 Identifying support for industry.

 Supporting industry partners.

 Planning for recovery.

Given the current circumstances of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Destination Northern Ontario has made the decision to cancel or postpone all non-essential travel, events and business meetings. Our team will work with you to either continue the meeting by phone or online platforms and rebook in-person events for the future. We know this is a difficult time for our industry, and we are here to support you.

Our team will continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation and will link to pertinent articles, with a focus and relevance to our industry.
